The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH)

INTACH is a nationwide organization committed to heritage conservation, whether built, cultural or natural. Through its network of over 140 Chapters and hundreds of volunteers, the organization aims to promote heritage awareness. The Bangalore Chapter is currently involved in heritage awareness programs through ‘Parichay’ (Introduction) walks to rediscover the city, heritage interpretation projects, and restoration works like the recently completed Gangubai Hangal Museum in Dharwad.

Namma Bengaluru Foundation along with INTACH aims at spreading awareness about the diversity of cultural heritage and the efforts that are required to conserve it through the various events and programs conducted by them.
